Well, here we are, three days away from getting married! I’m so excited, the plans are just about finalised and we can begin to relax.
Hen and stag do’s took place Saturday night and didn’t go without the obligatory drama.
My fiancee went with a whole horde of family and friends to begin celebrations with a few rounds of paintballing. By mid afternoon I had recieved the phone call from one of his mates: the “now don’t panic, but……” phone call. The pause that followed was just long enough for me to mentally run through each of my children that had gone along as well as my fiancee. In my head, all sorts of horrific things had happened to each of them in turn but in reality, the pause was miniscule, intended to give me time to collect myself but actually prolonging the fear!

Hair is considered our crowning glory and people can be extremely sensitive about it! There are as many hang ups about hair as there are about our bodies but in truth there is precious little we can do to influence it. Much of what goes on with our hair will be determined before we are born but in these day’s where image is everything, more and more people are concerned with their hair, or lack of it, to the point where more are considering a hair transplant than ever before.

Team building has become a much bandied about phrase lately. Initially associated with those types that liked to be boss just for the day and cajoled people into doing things they didn’t really want to do, there is a new feel to team building now for one particular reason.
It is a fact of life these days that family are spread thinly on the ground. People have to make special arrangements and travel many miles to see their nearest and dearest and this will often only happen on special occasions such as Christmas and birthdays.

It would seem the Scots definitely have the edge over us Brits when it comes to taking the nations health in hand. Not only were they first to stop smoking in the work place but now they are introducing new laws to prevent the advertising of alcoholic drinks anywhere other than alcohol aisles in shops. About time too I say!
