Well We Did It!

We finally tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in beautiful surroundings on a beautiful day. All our plans came together in a manner that couldn’t have been more perfect or less stressful.
I started the day with the hairdresser and got ready surrounded by my beautiful bridesmaids all exciteable. I couldn’t believe how nervous I was! My new husband had arranged for an old fashioned Rolls Royce to transport me to our chosen venue so I travelled the forty minutes with my dad, getting increasingly nervous.
I arrived at the venue and walked the aisle that was crammed with the smiling faces of family and friends that were all happy for us. And I have to say, as nervous as I was, I enjoyed every moment of it. To walk up the aisle and meet my groom (who looked absolutely drop dead gorgeous!!) was a moment that will live with me all my life.
The rest of the day also went just as smoothly. The sun came out for each and every photo. The food was cooked to perfection. All the guests looked just lovely and smiley.
We had no seperation of guests, all mingled and had a great time and we have’t stopped talking about it since! My dad, brother in law and new husband sat in a row just before their speeches looking like condemned men as they were all so nervous but I would like to say, they did us proud. My dad has never done public speaking before but he created such a moving speech that me and my daughter were in tears (must remember to pay him well!). My brother in law and husband were also very nervous but also deliverd touching and funny speeches – another perfect moment.
I think if all the detail of a wedding could be planned then this is how it would be.
