My Child Won’t Stop Growing!

There has to be an answer to it!

This little runt of the litter that was born 7 weeks premature and was sick until he was five years old is now 14, much taller than me and as broad as your average man! How did that happen?

I’m talking about my youngest son. The one who began painfully shy but is now capable of starting a conversation with anybody, is polite and helpful and so…. big!

He even knows these days when he’s about to have a growth spurt because he tells me. He can’t stop eating and inbetween meals, just wants to sleep. After a couple of weeks of this, his routine goes back to normal and we find nothing in the wardrobe fits him. In fact, in preparation for going back to school, he tried on the blazer that fitted him before he holidays – yep, the sleeves are now half way up his forearms!

So, what’s the solution?

Stop feeding him – tried that, he still grows, just gets more tired.

I could put bricks on his head and try to stunt his growth? Ok, not ethical, I know!

Guess I’ll just be taking out shares in clothing stores that charge adult prices for the adult clothes that go on my CHILD!
