VOIP Phones – Speculate to Accumulate

We’re all looking for ways to save money these days and one of the unfortunate drawbacks to this is that we often have to spend money to do it. For example, spending out on highly economical washing machine will be pricey but will save money in the long run. It’s a fine balancing act between what we have available now and our long term plans to cut down expenses. Another aspect ot it all is that we have all become so used to our creature comforts that there are certain items we are just unwilling to do without. The phone and computer for example, have become essentials in everyone lives and are not cheap. However, to save money in the long run we could combine the two into a VOIP phone and save money on our quarterly phone bill.

The VOIP phones will allow you to make telephone calls through your internet service provider as opposed to using the monopolise BT lines. A bummer for BT but cheaper for us as we will have the internet connection anyway – why pay for a phone line we don’t need?

The only drawback for the present time is that internet connections, particularly residential ones, can become easily congested and this can lead to lost connections and thus lost calls. However, technology advances every day and this aspect is being worked on. Indeed, we are all being promised better internet connectivity through various companies and teh more advances that are made, the less likely we are to have to rely on BT – that can’t be a bad thing!
