Exhibition Stands - The Best Way To Get Noticed
January 28, 2010cathyhpBusiness has been slow lately - not just for me but for everyone - something about a reccession or the like. However, I am glad to say that we are ticking by. We won’t be rich at this rate, I won’t be retiring any earlier than the usual, but I’ve seen companies in a lot worse situations and I don’t want to end up there so I’ve decided to do something about it to give business a boost before the situation gets any worse. I still have a little money in the pot so have decided to attend a exhibition in London. This is going to be a one-off, full on attempt to drum up visibility for the company so I’m giong to invest int eh best exhibition stand I can afford.
I’ve been to see a specialist company that make exhibition stands and we’ve been over my business type and the sorts of things I will need to display at the exhibition. I want to give visitors a real feel for the hands on approach of my company so will have an area where I can do demonstrations. There will also be a ‘rest’ area. I know what these places are like - acres of area to walk around and then you forget what you saw where so I’m thinking that a comfy seating area will attract wearer walkers and a few strategically placed booklets and business cards will ensure that they my business is in the forefront of their minds when they can’t be asked to move again.
The exhibition stand needs to be eye-catching - to make people want to visit it - but not so busy that it gets confusing. I’d like it to look a little futuristic to imply that we are a forward thinking company (which we are) and I want people to feel at ease around it.
This, I believe, will be the start of a new batch of work for me!
