Party Products Make The Day
January 25, 2010cathyhp No Comments »I’m hosting a birthday party for my grandson next month and as he is my only grandchild, I’m still in the position of being able to make each birthday extra special for him. Yeah, I know, I’ll spoil him but isn’t that what grandparents are for? Anyway, I need to make the day extra special so I want to make it as bright and colourful as possible and for that I’m going to need specialist party products.
We have a colourful clown birthday cake with candles for buttons and a bright red table cover. I’ve picked yellow napkins, blue plates and decorated paper cups. I know he’s going to love this theme. He’s a scatty boy who loves bright colours and fun and noise so this multi coloured theme should suit him down to the ground.
It’s been a while since I’ve been able to create such a young children’s party but this year my daughter was glad of the extra help and we’ve had great fun planning it together. We are now looking around at party products to make it that little bit extra special.
We’ve found some party hats for the children with a difference – builders hats for the boys and tiaras for the girls – jsut right for the three year olds that will be there and probably the only way they will keep party hats on! We have one large banner to go across the front of the house so as soon as he arrives he willknow something special is going on. There’s also a Happy Birthday banner in the back garden above the food table and a bouncy castle.
To go in the party bags, we’ve found balloons and streamers and foil whistle blowers that extend. There’s also some small toys for the bags and with a slice of birthday cake aswell this should see them all packed off nicely.
All that’s left is the clearing up!
